In my first week with WBOC, I learned some of the foundational skills I used throughout the duration of my internship.  I was taught the basic functions on Adobe After Effects and touched up on my knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.  I attended my first radio promotions meeting, where I soaked up information from all of the Draper Media radio hosts.  These meetings took place every Tuesday morning, and their purpose was to update all the hosts on the events, promotions and advertising opportunities scheduled for the week and the remainder of the month.  I also made sure to introduce myself to everyone in the Marketing and Promotions department, as well as all of the radio hosts.  It was a typical first week, with not too much thrown my way to start.  I was just getting my toes in the water, preparing for my first big assignment.
